JACK’S CREEK MARINA HOLDING FAMILY FISHING TOURNAMENT
Summerton, SC (June 3, 2009) – Jack’s Creek Marina will host the First Annual Family Fishing Tournament Saturday, June 20th on Lake Marion.
This catch and release tournament includes 100% payout of the net proceeds per fishing category for catfish, crappie, bream and shellcracker. Fishing begins at safe light and continues until noon. The weigh-in, raffles and lunch will be held from noon until 1:00 p.m., followed by the awards ceremony at 1:30 p.m. The entry fee for each boat, two to four people, is $35.
“We are so excited to host this family fishing tournament. We’re expecting a great turnout and we’re so thankful to our sponsors, Sumter Piggly Wigglys, Baucom Enterprises and Bank of Clarendon, to name a few. This will be a great opportunity to bring the community together and have fun doing it,” said Bonni Agnew, Jack’s Creek Marina’s Store and Boat Landing Manager, “We plan to make this an annual event - take dad fishing for an early Father’s Day celebration.”
